Detailed Product Description

SUNSTONE calcium aluminate cement products are hydraulic binding agents with alumina contents about 50-60% grade, 70% grade, 75% grade, and 80% grade(CA50/A500/A600/A700/A900/CA-70/CA-75/CA-80) as per the requests of our customers.

The relatively high content of alumina and the relatively low content of various impurities in this series of calcium aluminate cement products, especially the reasonable combination between CA phase (monocalcium aluminate) and CA2 phase (dicalcium aluminate), make this series of products endow monolithic refractories with not only very excellent mechanical performance but also outstanding high-temperature performance. Therefore, this series of products is very applicable to the conditions of high service temperature above 1,400 and contact with molten metals.

The CA-50, CA-70,CA-75 and CA-80 series of calcium aluminate cement products supplied by SUNSTONE contain no additives. Excellent adaptability and compatibility make the products very suitable for monolithic refractories with high technology content, such as low cement castables (LCC) and ultra-low cement castables (ULCC) . At the same time, the products are also extensively suitable for various construction methods.
